INCORPORATING A SOUND STUDIO MID-STREAM

 For this project, IA integrated a new video production studio into an ongoing 240,000 SF renovation of LinkedIn’s Global Tech Park in Bangalore, India. The studio enables LinkedIn to produce professional-grade video content, enhancing operational capabilities in its flagship location in Bangalore. Throughout the project, IA worked closely with local architect-of-record Space Matrix and Linkedin’s internal teams, ensuring the studio was seamlessly incorporated into the larger project, delivered on time and completed on budget. Arraying a sound stage, an audio editing suite, and storage facilities, the studio works in concert with the new workstations, conference rooms, and lounges delivered as part of the overall renovation. The sound stage achieved NC-25 noise criteria for HVAC and NC-30 for sound isolation.

INTEGRATING THE STUDIO INTO AN ONGOING RENOVATION

Carefully considered adjacencies between production areas and the new staff spaces (designed by Space Matrix) create an efficient working environment. As the recording studio consultant, IA also coordinated all mechanical systems and acoustic treatments with the ongoing renovation, ensuring the studio functioned optimally within the larger scheme.
